Getable is a relatively new player in an industry as old as America itself. The goal of our homepage was to build trust, increase rental conversions, highlight getable's breadth of equipment, and create brand awareness.
Unlike a brick and mortar store, Getable aggregates equipment and availability from all the local and nationwide suppliers. We needed a way to display our comprehensive inventory while also assuring our users that we would fulfill our obligation as a rental source.
To accomplish this we interspersed rental equipment with social proof and value propositions. Browsing for equipment and reading about Getable would feel natural. With this approach we built trust and won over many renters.
My Role: lead design, user research, interaction design, information architecture, copy writing, and branding.
