Price transparency as a competitive advantage


Currently, to rent equipment, a renter must call various suppliers to get pricing and check on availability. This game of telephone is inefficient, leads to errors, and allows suppliers to obfuscate the true cost of the rental by not disclosing any/all fees. Often that $99 rental ends up costing well over $200 when all is said and done. 

Getable sought to streamline this process, reduce friction, and bring transparency to the rental process. This component became known as the out-the-door price calculator. 

With this price calculator, the user would input critical information up front, see the out-the-door cost, and be able to checkout with confidence and ease.

My Role: lead design, interaction design, information architecture, copy writing, and branding.
